PhotoFun is coming back

 Pandemic is over! After 2 years we have been restricted to going abroad, or just being hang out together was a crime, now after the booster vaccine have been registered, and I think more than 80 % of Indonesia population have their full vaccine dose, Indonesia government started to ease the covid related regulation. The same with many other countries. You can see that flight schedule become tight again. Since now we can go to Singapore without need to be quarantine, of course, the demand to go to Singapore become so high, which make the ticket price become ridiculous. However, most of Indonesian of course choose to travel to other Indonesia beautiful region, such as Bali. However, it ain't no cheap, especially with the rumor that Borobudur ticket will be revised into Rp750 k for local. 

Some other persons, like me have a simple hobby such as photography. And of course, photography event become arise again. 

One of photography event that I mostly join is the one that being organized by the guy name " Acung" . I love his event, since it is no frill, a lot of model ( mostly newbie models) and quite cheap. Even tough sometimes the location are not  really that 'eye catching'. I think he is more focus on the beautiful sight of the model as the main object of the photo, rather the surrounding. In certain point I can agree with him, since I also use big aperture lens, so no worries about the shitty background, since it will be perfectly blurred anyway. I think even if we do the photo shoot with trash as the background, it will be good, as long as the model are pretty. 

The date was 11 June 2022.  As usual I was being informed by one of my model friend regarding the event. It is a quite a bargain only 150k and you can have all you can eat durian!.

So the venue, which I believe also become the sponsor is durian specialty cafe name Rodjoduren. If I searched online, the owner has several branch. One of the newest has just opened in Pluit Village. The one that become venue for our photographing event. 

The location is quite nice, since they took outdoor venue. It was just in the center of the lake.

 It is pretty nice for potrait and model photo, since the background is beautiful and vast, so you can get the creamy bokeh.

I only use one lens for the photoshoot that day. It was 50 mm f1.8 . Some of the model often seen in many Acung event. Some are newbie. But it always a refreshing thing to have new faces.

The event were not only just photographing model. There was also MC ( I believe was hired by the owner of the venue) and singer.The MC was quite funny and always have fun conversation with the model

The good thing that the weather quite nice and sunny. It was a little bit worried since in the morning we had cloudy weather and even raining a little bit. The interesting thing is we actually can see the moon in a bright day. I managed to capture the moon

In the afternoon all the model, the owner and the mc took a picture together. and then all the photographer and model having durian festive together. It was a fun day!
